To briefly recap some of the content of my previous posts so that this one makes more sense: We enter this world with nothing, and we will leave it with nothing. Most people as they grow take on the beliefs of those closest to them and end up living similar lives unless they are able to change their subconscious beliefs. Life does not need to be this way! More empowering choices have always been, and are still available to every one of us. If we seek out information and experiences that will empower us, we will create a better future
Humanity is currently the only species capable of having a significant influence on our home planet, the earth. We have considerable power because of our superior mind which enables us to influence all that we contact by utilizing technology and mechanization to our advantage. This is not necessarily a good thing, and it is unfortunate that at this time in our history we are choosing to spread like a destructive virus over the face of the Earth. We are actually causing harm and damage to almost all environments that we interact with. It does not need to be this way!
We, as eternal souls, choose to play in this reality so we can experience what life in a feeling, thinking, physical body can teach us. The journey of physical life is an amazing experience for our omnipresent soul to engage in. It is like a holiday for our soul as we get to pretend for a short while that we are separate from the one source of creation. We chose to come into this limited plane of reality, and in it, we are all living the perfect experience according to what our soul wishes to learn. Why am I here?
So, here we are, in a physical body, on planet Earth. What! How did this happen? If you are anything like me, you will have been asking plenty of question to try to figure out what is going on. Why am I here? Is there any purpose to my life? Can I really be here as a result of a freak accident of nature? I canceled out the last question pretty much immediately. Why? Because….. Do you know how awesomely amazing you are? Do you have any understanding of how incredibly complex you are? That is just you! Now try
We all have different lives. However, the same truths apply to all of us. We may believe that the nicest people have the nicest lives, some people are always lucky and the grumpiest people have unhappy lives. We may think that ‘grumpy people’ are grumpy because of all the misfortune they have had in their lives, because of all the stuff going on outside of them that has a direct impact on the quality of their lives. Should we feel sorry for them? The law of attraction says that their life, and everyone else’s life, is a direct result of
It is OK to receive without feeling guilty. This was a hard lesson for me to learn because I was brought up being told that ‘I have to work hard for everything I want in life.’ Therefore, when opportunities came along that I did not work hard for, I felt unworthy of receiving the benefits they presented. When doing an after-school job for a neighbor on a regular basis, one day he told me that he would give me a pay rise. It equated to 20% more than I was currently being paid. Not a great amount, but my reaction
The collective consensus reality of ‘how the world is’ is a collection of ideas that have been established, built upon, refined, and subsequently enforced by those in power for thousands of years. This does not mean that their view of reality is correct, however, it is the current view that most of us accept and live by. How has this consensus reality been maintained? Current political systems continue to push ideas that reinforce the status quo. The main idea being that, as individuals, we are unable to look after ourselves and need continued ‘guidance’ from those who are wiser than
Do you really want a different life than the one you have now? I’m assuming that you want to make it ‘better’ in some ways than the life experience you are currently living. Do you realize that this means you will have to change things about yourself, not other people? Other people are not responsible for creating our lives. Our life experience is our responsibility and if you are blaming other people or other events/circumstances for your reality then you are playing at being a victim of circumstances. The benefits of being a ‘victim’ is that you do not accept
Karma can be defined as ‘the spiritual principle of cause and effect where the intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that very person.’ This means that the way others behave towards us contributes towards their karma, and the way we respond contributes to our karma. When we understand this, we know that nothing happens by chance, and therefore everything in our life happens for our benefit so that we can learn and grow from our experiences! We are all students here, learning about life on earth and most of us still have unresolved issues, things that
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” Albert Einstein. Our consciousness resides in our physical body. We are fortunate that the necessary functions our bodies require, to sustain life, are automatic and need no conscious thought on our behalf. Imagine if we had to think every time we wanted: our heart to beat, to control where the blood flow was most required our lungs to breathe, our muscles
