We all have negative thoughts, some people a lot more than others….. It’s just how our minds work. And yes, they are real! Every thought you have ever had is real… Why? Because thoughts are energy, and once created, they have an impression upon the Universal Mind and therefore on your reality.
However, the real issue is “will all of your negative thoughts become reality?” And the simple answer is no, they will not…. unless you persist with them over and over again.
Do Negative Thoughts Become Reality?
If you cultivate your negative thoughts by giving them a lot of attention and emotional energy, they will grow like weeds in the fertile garden of your mind. The bigger they grow, the harder they become to ‘weed out,’ and the more you will begin to believe them. And once you believe your negative thoughts are true, you will then unconsciously begin shaping your reality to ‘match’ your beliefs… This process is referred to as The Law of Attraction and it means that your reality is constructed from the vibrational information you are emitting into the Universal Mind.
How Do Your Negative Thoughts Become Reality?
Negative thinking is a major problem for many people and it does have undesirable effects on their lives. However, it’s not the negative thoughts that are the problem… instead, it is the power (energy/vibration) that they give to them.
Thoughts, like light and sound, and everything else that exists in our physical world are composed of energy. And all energy is constantly vibrating. Healthy, positive, beneficial thoughts vibrate at higher frequencies than unhealthy, depressing negative thoughts. And it is the number of each (positive and negative) and the emotion (energy in motion) given to them that makes up your vibration….
Your overall vibration is composed of a mix of many different aspects, including love, work, wealth, health, etc. And your vibration with each aspect acts like a magnet to draw relevant results into your life. It cannot be any other way….
And this means that having continuous negative thoughts about a lack of money, for example, will result in a low vibration around the topic of wealth. This low vibration will then attract ‘negative’ circumstances, events, and people into your life that will prevent you from becoming wealthy.
Fortunately, the opposite is also true. Focusing on loving thoughts, without contradiction, will raise your vibration and result in you feeling love…. Therefore, you will emit a signal/vibration to attract love into your life.
Fearful thoughts, if often thought, will result in you experiencing lower-vibration feelings including stress, anxiety, depression, fear, etc. And unfortunately, these energetic vibrations will not only manifest as low-quality emotions, resulting in more low-quality thoughts, but will also manifest physically in your body as dis-ease.
What Can You Do To Stop Having So Many Negative Thoughts?
1) Accept that you are having negative thoughts….
This is the first crucial step to diminishing the influence they will have over your life. Why? Because as with all things, ‘Whatever you fight, you are giving more of your mental and emotional energy too.’ Acceptance is passive and will not result in you giving your energy over to ‘the negative side!’
2) Next, understand that you are not alone….
It is normal to have some negative thoughts, (and everyone does.) After all, not everything we experience in our daily lives is pleasant! For physical reality to exist, there must be balance in the force…. (I think Yoda said something to that effect in Star Wars!) Both Good and bad are necessary components of life….
but our energy will only flow where we place our attention.
3) Realize that your thoughts are just that… they are just thoughts!
They are not solid, they may not be true, and they are interchangeable. Yes, your thoughts are something that you can learn to choose so that you can create a better life for yourself!
You don’t even have to analyze them…. That’s just giving them more energy…. energy that you could be using to make your life better right now at this moment, instead of dwelling on the negativity.
It’s important to understand that what you are thinking is the catalyst for how you are feeling. And your feelings determine how you will act and therefore the results you receive. If you’re feeling negative, it’s hard to get a positive result… it’s much better to be optimistic and aim for the best in every situation…. And even if you don’t always get what you want, you will still be a happier and healthier person because of the better thoughts (improved vibration) you are having.
4) Learn to become Emotionally Intelligent.
Your emotional state is your body’s reaction to what you have been thinking and doing. Emotions are the vibrational messages (energetic charges) that tell the Universal Mind what to ‘deliver’ to you. This is The Law of Attraction
in action….. Your thoughts create your vibration which signals the Universal Mind to return to your circumstances, events, and people that match your vibration!
When you become tuned into your emotional state more often, you will be able to recognize which patterns of thought are bringing you down. Because becoming emotionally intelligent allows you to create space between your thoughts and the habitual emotions they create.
Therefore, you can stop your negative thoughts before they build up negative emotions in your body. This will prevent you from sending negative signals out into the Universal Mind. Instead, you can begin to train your mind to create positive vibrations in your body which will attract positive outcomes for you.
5) Practice Mindfulness, more often.
The first Universal Principle, according to Hermes Trismegistus, as written about by The Three Initiates in the book, The Kybalion, is that All is Mind…. This means that the universe, and everything in it, is a mental construct created by our thoughts.
Yes, they are saying that your thoughts do become your reality….. You become what you spend most of your time thinking about. And if you are mostly optimistic, then life will work out well for you. However, it also means that if you are thinking negative thoughts a lot of the time, then you are going to have a life filled with struggle, challenges, and disappointment.
But fortunately, there is an easy way out of the negative reality you have unknowingly created for yourself…..

You Become What You Consistently Feed Your Brain!
As I mentioned before, reality is necessarily made up of the good, the bad, and everything in between. This is also one of the Universal Principles expressed in The Kyabilion. The Principle of Polarity states that everything is relative to something else. You can have something good, or better, or the best. Maybe something else is good, but not so good, or it could be bad, worse, or terrible.
Everything is relative… and this means that every time you reach for a thought that is better than the one you have before, you are effectively raising your vibration. And the consequence of raising your vibration is that your life will improve in direct relation to the better thoughts you are having.
So instead of thinking negatively (and creating negativity) just upgrade the quality of your thoughts to something more positive. It’s easy because this is an amazing reality, filled with some much beauty, so much joy, and so much love…. And you will find it all when you seek it out and allow it to become the focus of your attention.
To Help do this, ask yourself these questions so you can begin moving toward the better life you desire:
“What is it that you want to create for the rest of your life?”
“How can you make the best out of your current situation?”
“What thoughts do you need to have to get you to where you want to be?”
“If you think bigger and better thoughts about your goals, will it help you achieve them quicker?”…. and of course, the answer is yes, thinking better thoughts will help you get the things you want more quickly!
Why? Because your habitual thoughts become your mindset, your words, and your actions. And it is all these things that combine to create your reality…. Therefore, your future reality is your choice, based on the habitual thoughts you are having now….
So what’s it going to be? Better thoughts now to create a better future reality or more of the same stuff you are living now?
The choice is yours! With practice, you can begin to reprogram your brain to create a better reality for you and your loved ones…..
